Practical information:

The workshop will be held in Bialowieza , Poland , at the Mammal Research Institute ( http://www.zbs.bialowieza.pl/ ) from 28 June to 2 July 2009. Bialowieza is located approximately 5 h drive east of Warsaw close to Belorussia . For more information about the Bialowieza area see http://www.bialowieza.net.pl/eng/ .

Buses will be driving people from Warsaw to Bialowieza and return. Two buses will pick up people at Warsaw airport and the Central Train Station in Warsaw 28 June at 12:00 and at 16:00. On July 2 buses will leave Bialowieza 06:00 and 12:00 (expected to be in Warsaw 11:00 and 17:00 respectively).

Accommodation will be at hotels in Bialowieza. There will be single rooms booked for invited speakers and double rooms for students/post docs.

Accommodation, food and the excursion will be paid by ESF for all participants. We do not have funding to pay for travel expenses for all applicants. Those who wish to apply for money to pay for travel expenses should indicate the approximate amount of money needed on the registration form.

Applicants can either apply for a poster or oral presentation. Oral presentations will be 10-15 minutes and there will be a poster session (see program).
